Hello everyone, my name is Mateo Delgado.

I suppose that everyone in the last few days has noticed that many people are traveling or from one country to another, and everyone will wonder why they do this, and for that I am here to answer all those questions. The fact that people travel from one country to another, and stay to live in them, is known as migration, this occurs when in the countries there is a decrease in jobs and wages, which causes people to not have a livelihood economic, and have to go to another country where there are jobs to have a stable economy.

Recently my family has also had to migrate to another country, leaving behind the place where I grew up, for the moment I have been staying with my grandfather, who is very alarming saying that all this transferred to this other country will affect our family a lot, because he thinks that we will be very separated from each other, and because of this he believes that we will stop getting along with everyone. For that reason, I have proposed to make a list indicating the pros and cons of migrating to another country.



The advantages of migration towards another country:

• Improved quality of life.

• New personal and professional experiences.

• Contact with new cultures and expansion of knowledge.

• Decrease in crime.

• Fewer financial problems.

The disadvantages of migration to another country:

• Xenophobia and cultural barriers.

• Language Barriers.

• Shortage of labor supply.

• Risks of deportation to your country.


When realizing the advantages and disadvantages of going to another country, I was able to reach a conclusion, which is that if you really do not have the need to migrate to another place or country that is foreign to yours, it is better not to do it since you will suffer of multiple harassments due to xenophobia, problems with language and at the beginning problems to find a job. However, if it is really necessary for you to migrate, since you have a rather deplorable situation, if it is recommended to do so, and even though the road is not going to be easy, with effort, you can improve your situation in another country.

Changing Habitats

    Are you thinking about moving to the city?   I think I can help; my name is Alejandra; my mom took a very life-changing decision last year.
